MC Basketball Lady Chaps are #3 Seed in NJCAA National Basketball Tournament
The Midland College Lady Chaps will open the 2010 NJCAA Women's Division I Basketball Tournament (Salina, KS) on Tuesday, March 16 @ 10:00 a.m. versus Shelton State Community College. MC enters the tournament with an impressive 30-3 record. Shelton State currently has a 19-12 record for their season. more ...

MC Baseball MC Softball Calling for Junior Chaps
We're looking for Junior Lady Chaps (softball) and Junior Chaps (baseball) for the upcoming conference games. We are looking for girls and boys ages 5-11. To submit nominees for the program, just contact me via e-mail at fallen@midland.edu

MC Softball Chap Softball Returns Home March 20
MC Baseball returns to its home field Saturday, March 20, at the Freddie Ezell (MUGS) Softball Complex, where they'll play the Western Texas College Westerners.

MC Softball Chap Golf Returns Home March 28-30
MC Golf returns to Midland Monday-Wednesday, March 28-30, for the Omega Treating Chemical, Inc. Invitational at Green Tree Country Club.

NJCAA MC student-atheletes named NJCAA All-Americans

Over the years, many of Midland College's Chaparral and Lady Chaparral student-athletes have been named All-Americans by the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Midland College Chaparral Athletic Club

The pursuit of championships begins long before any coins are tossed or anthems are sung. Years before a Chaparral accepts a WJCAA championship trophy or earns All-American honors, each student-athlete must first choose Midland College. In the decision-making process, he or she must see that Midland College has The Championship Vision. The funds raised through the capital campaign for athletics will address immediate and urgent needs throughout the athletic program. It is a common goal of the Midland College Foundation, the Athletic Department, and Midland College to provide the resources necessary for the coaches to continue to recruit and retain the very best student-athletes and for all Chaparral teams to consistently rank among the nation's elite.
