Midland College Golf
The Midland College golf team came up just short of pulling
off a repeat of their national championship magic from 2006,
finishing second to Scottsdale Community College in the 2007
NJCAA National Men's Golf Championship. In rounds three and
four, the Chaparrals recorded scores of 293 and 290 respectively
to finish the tournament with a total of 1140. The Chaps
edged 2004 and 2005 national champion Odessa College by one
shot with the Wranglers finishing third in the competition.
