Head Coach - Tommy Ramos

This year the Lady Chaps will be led by NFCA All AMerican Lauren Tauanu'u, and NFCA All Region Cassie Siataga. These two young ladies along with sophomores Terri Nava, Desiree Hagberg, Jessica Bati, Robi Kami, Rabecca Hernandez and Kaitlyn Durrett will lead a young Lady Chaps team into the 2016 season.

Over the past 17 seasons Coach Ramos has amassed an impressive 770-248-3 overall record. Coach Ramos has led the Lady Chaps to four NJCAA National Tournaments (2001, 2002, 2003, and 2008). Additionally, the Lady Chaps have won nine WJCAC Championships along with four NJCAA Regional Championships. Ramos has been named WJCAC Coach of the Year six times and four times NJCAA Region V Coach of the Year. Coach Ramos has had the pleasure of coaching the Region V and Region V-West JUCO All Stars five times.

During the summer of 2008 he coached the Texas All Stars, who played the USA Olympic Softball Team in Midland, Texas on June 27th.

Ramos is a native of Stanton, Texas and a graduate of Stanton High School. He was a multi-sport athlete, having participated in cross-country, basketball and track and field. He was a three-time UIL Regional qualifier in cross-country. After graduating from SHS, he enrolled at Midland College where he worked as a student trainer for the men's basketball program. He graduated from Midland College and transferred to Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas .
