BASEBALL: Chaps Take on Howard College in WJCAC Play
After going 3-1 last in last weekend’s WJCAC opening series versus New Mexico Junior College, the MC baseball team looks to keep the offensive momentum against Howard College.

MIDLAND, TEXAS - After going 3-1 last in last weekend's WJCAC opening series versus New Mexico Junior College, the MC baseball team looks to keep the offensive momentum against Howard College. The Chaparrals 16-8 overall and 3-1 in conference will travel to Big Spring on Friday for the first two games of the series with games at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. On Saturday the teams are scheduled for a double-header at Christensen Stadium in Midland, also at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
MC, 5-2 in March, faces a Howard team that has seen its struggles this season after a late-year coaching change. The Hawks sit at 6-12 on the season including 2-2 in the WJCAC (spilt versus New Mexico Military Institute) after last weekend's conference opening series.
There is no admission charged at Saturday's games and fans should bring their own refreshments to the ballpark.
