BASEBALL: Chaps to host Clarendon
The Midland College baseball team will look for its first Western Junior College Athletic Conference series win since mid-March when it hosts Clarendon College in a four-game set Friday and Saturday at Christensen Stadium.

MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Midland College baseball team will look for its first Western Junior College Athletic Conference series win since mid-March when it hosts Clarendon College in a four-game set Friday and Saturday at Christensen Stadium.
Doubleheaders of seven and nine innings will begin at noon each day.
The Chaparrals (23-14, 10-6) are coming off a series split with rival Odessa College and have split the last two WJCAC series.
Clarendon (8-25-1, 1-11) has struggled this season and got swept against New Mexico Junior College last weekend.
MC is expected to go with the rotation of right-hander Luke Young and lefty Alizaeh Gutierrez on Friday, followed by right-handers Luis Rodriguez and Jarek Wells on Saturday.
