Midland College Chaps Baseball Hosts Trinidad State College in 2024 Home Opening Series

The MC baseball team opened the season in San Antonio versus Alvin Community College in a three-game series. Midland College, 1-2 this season, return home for their home opening series versus the Trinidad State College (CO) Trojans.
On Friday, February 9th the Chaparrals and Trojans are schedued to play a 1:00 p.m. double-header. Then on Saturday, the Chaps and Trojans will play a single game beginning at 1:00 p.m. All three games will be played at Christensen Stadium.
Midland College's Brock Tijerina is hitting .400 after three games (10 appearances) to lead the Chaparrals. The Chaps are expected to start sophomore pitchers Tyler Boudreau and Daniel Bass on Friday. Both Boudreau and Bass are Texas Tech signees for the 2024-2025 academic year while Tijerina has signed with Lubbock Christian University.
There is no admission charge to attend Midland College home games. Fans are welcome to bring drinks and snacks to the ballpark.
