Midland College Chaps Baseball Hosts Wayland Baptist JV in a Twin Bill
The Midland College Chaparrals baseball team will host the Wayland Baptist University JV on Friday, February 23rd at Christensen Stadium

The MC baseball team is scheduled to host the Wayland Baptist University JV in a Friday double-header beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Christensen Stadium. Midland College, 6-3 on the season, will take on the WBU JV Pioneers on Friday, February 23rd.
MC's Tyler Boudreau (Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada) leads the Chaps pitching staff with a 2-0 record and a 2.81 ERA in three starts. Boudreau has signed to play at Texas Tech University in 2024-2025.
Offensively the Chaps are receiving outstanding contributions from sophomore outfielder Jake Martinez (29 AB, .517 average) and the team's "Swiss Army Knife" Matt Guthmiller with 35 AB and a .486 batting average. Infielder Justin Rumfield is contributing a .406 batting average in 32 at-bats for the Chaparrals.
