The Midland College Chaparrals mounted a tremendous come-from-behind win versus the Temple College Leopards on Friday at Christensen Stadium. 

Midland College improved to 11-3 in 2024 with the win.  The two teams will play a Saturday twinbill to conclude the three-game weekend series.  Temple College dropped to 12-4 on the season.  

MC trailed by two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning when, with two outs, freshman DH Andrew Taylor (Mansfield, TX) smacked a three-run homerun, driving in Jake Martinez and Brock Tijerina to take the lead 13-11. 

Chaparral pitcher, Carson Laws earned the win after entering the game in the top of the 6th inning.  Midland College trailed Temple College 8-5 at that point in the contest.
