BASKETBALL: MC men improve to2-0 with home win
The Midland College men’s basketball team won its second straight game in two days with a 94-56 win over Strength ‘N Motion prep school, Saturday at Chaparral Center.

MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Midland College men's basketball team won its second straight game in two days with a 94-56 win over Strength 'N Motion prep school, Saturday at Chaparral Center.
The Chaps (2-0) had a pair of players with double-doubles, as Franklin Agu had 14 points and 16 rebounds, while Ashraf Tchadouwa scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Steven Richardson led MC with 19 points, Christian Villegas added 16 and Oliver Hayward contributed with 11.
Midland High grad Nikko Smith had eight points and a team-high seven rebounds for Strength 'N Motion, which is based out of San Antonio.
MC hosts Taylor Prep at 7 p.m. Thursday.
