BASKETBALL: MC Men's Late Run Upends Taylor Made Prep

MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Midland College Chaps basketball team spent the first half of Thursday night's game working to solve the puzzle of a scrappy and undermanned Taylor Made Prep team.  Leading by 12 points at the intermission, Midland College steadily extended their lead in the second half to put away TMP to the tune of an 81-50 Chaparral win.  

The Chaps improved to 3-0 in 2021 and were led by a trio of freshmen. Franklin Agu posted 23 points and nine caroms, Devin Avent poured in 13 points from the point guard position and Daniel Piech-Meat added 12 points and eight rebounds for MC.  

Midland College is scheduled to play a very talented Sunrise Christian Academy team on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center.
