ODESSA, TEXAS - No. 1-ranked Salt Lake Community College had a big second half to roll past the Midland College men's basketball team, 93-66, during the Odessa College Classic on Thursday at the OC Sports Center.
The Chaparrals (4-2) had a 38-37 lead at halftime before the Bruins (6-0) outscored MC 56-28 in the second half as MC was held to 38.5% shooting.
Christian Villegas led MC with a team-high 23 points, Matteo Tersillo had 17 and Trent Johnson added 11.
MC next plays Trinity Valley Community College at 1 p.m. Thursday at the OC Sports Center.
