BASKETBALL: Chaps hold on to beat Ranger College
The Midland College men’s basketball team avenged an earlier season loss with a 65-62 win over Ranger College during the Odessa College Classic on Friday.

ODESSA, TEXAS - The Midland College men's basketball team avenged an earlier season loss with a 65-62 win over Ranger College during the Odessa College Classic on Friday.
Trent Johnson led the Chaparrals (6-2) with 14 points and nine rebounds, while Matteo Tersillo, Christian Villegas and Steven Richardson each provided 12 for MC. Richardson added four steals.
Villegas made two free throws to give the Chaps a three-point lead with six seconds left. MC followed with a stop on defense after Ranger missed a game-tying 3 attempt.
The Chaps will face Ranger College again for a road game at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
