PLANO, TEXAS - The Midland College men's basketball team closed out the Collin Thanksgiving Classic with an 82-63 win over Dallas College-North Lake on Saturday.
Trent Johnson and Daniel Piech-Meat both paced the Chaps (7-3) with a game-high 20 points, Matteo Tersillo added 15 and Steven Richardson provided 12.
Leading 33-32 at halftime, MC outscored North Lake 49-31 in the second half to finish the Collin Thanksgiving Classic with a 1-1 mark.
Gregory Crawford led North Lake (7-3) with 18, followed by 17 from Braeson Barrs-Richardson.
The Chaps open up Western Junior College Athletic Conference play when they host Howard College at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
