MESA, ARIZONA -The Midland College men's basketball team dropped its third straight game at the Fiesta Bowl JC Shootout with a 52-45 loss to Glendale Community College on Wednesday.
The Chaparrals (9-6) had a 22-19 halftime lead but were outscored by 10 points in the second half. MC was also held to 28% shooting for the game.
Trent Johnson had nine points and 12 rebounds to lead MC, while Steven Richardson also had nine points.
The Chaps return to Western Junior College Athletic Conference play at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at home against New Mexico Junior College.
