MIDLAND, TEXAS - The No. 25-ranked Midland College men's basketball team remained unbeaten with a 105-39 rout of NAIA program University of the Southwest JV, Wednesday at Chaparral Center.
Five Chaps scored in double figures, as Brison Waller led with 22 points, Doug Young had 20, Trent Johnson recorded 15, Jaden Henderson registered 14 and Andrews grad Brett Leach provided 11.
MC (8-0) took a commanding 62-13 halftime lead.
The Chaps out-shot the University of the Southwest by a 62.3% to 28.8% difference from the field.
MC also had a 44-15 advantage in rebounds.
The Chaps head to the Wrangler Shootout, Friday through Sunday in Odessa.
