PLAINVIEW, TEXAS - The Midland College men's basketball team crushed Wayland Baptist JV, 104-29, on Tuesday night.
Doug Young and Brett Leach each led the Chaparrals (11-1) with a game-high 24 points. Jaden Henderson had 20 points off the bench, Trent Johnson had 10 points and eight rebounds, Brison Waller had seven points and 10 rebounds, Keonte Jones had seven points, and Xavier White added six points as every available MC player scored.
MC shot 65.6% from the floor and led 68-19 at the half.
The Chaps next host Strength N' Motion at 7 p.m. Monday.
