MC Chaparrals Basketball Takes Balanced Scoring Attack to Weatherford College

The Midland College Chaps extended their win-streak to eight wins, going 3-0 over the weekend at the Odessa College Wrangler Club Classic. Midland College is currently 8-1 on the season, including a significant win versus #5 Snow College (UT) by a score of 77-70. MC also defeated Blinn College and Southwest Christian College, 83-65 and 95-70 respectively in Odessa.
The Chaparrals will lace up the sneakers on Tuesday when they take on Weatherford College in Weatherford beginning at 6:00 p.m. Midland College previously defeated the Coyotes on November 9th by a score of 70-67 in Midland. Weatherford College sits at 3-6 on the season.
The 2024-2025 Chaps feature six players scoring in double-digits. Bo Hurns leads the team at 18.0 ppg followed by Trey Clark, Jaden Kempson, Robert Dix, Grigorije Avramovic and Kendall Alexander who post 16.8, 13.2, 12.6, 11.7 and 10.2 points per game respectively.
