4-0 MC Chaparrals Travel to Plano for the East-West Basketball Classic
The Midland College Chaps will face their most difficult competition of the season when they travel to Plano for the East-West Classic to be held at Collin Community College.

The 4-0 Midland College Chaparrals will next be in action when they participate in the East-West Classic to be held at Collin Community College in Plano. The Chaps fresh off three wins last week versus Hillsborough Community College of Florida, Strength In Motion from San Antonio and Salt Lake Community College. Previously Midland College defeated Weatherford College at Weatherford in the season opener.
The Chaps are exhibiting a strong offensive punch averaging 95.3 points per game to go along with a high level of defensive intensity and energy. MC is outscoring their opponents by 21 points per game this season.
Four Chaps are averaging in double-figures led by Darius Carr at 21.5 points per contest. MC's Antoine Bo Hurns, Cayden Reed and Yeison Liberato are contributing 15.8, 12.5 and 11.8 points per game respectively. Liberato and point guard Reed are the team's leaders in rebounds at 6.3 and 4.8. Reed also averages 7.0 assists per contest.
Midland College will play their first game of the East-West Classic versus #1 Trinity Valley Community College on Friday, November 14th @ 4:00 p.m. On Friday, MC will take on Lamar State College - Port Arthur at 10:00 a.m.
