Midland College Chaparrals Cagers Crack the NJCAA Top 20 National Polls

The Midland College Chaps basketball team entered the most recent NJCAA Men's DI poll, as the #18 ranked team in the nation. After starting the season unranked, the Chaps ripped off four consecutive wins which appears to be enough to get the national pollster's attention.
The Chaparrals opened the season at Weatherford College winning that contest 86-77. MC then recorded successive wins versus Hillsborough Community College (106-80), Strength 'N Motion (99-65) and the Salt Lake Community College Bruins by a score of 90-74 in a rare Sunday contest. MC 4-0 this season will next play #1 Trinity Valley Community College at the East-West Classic in Plano.
