#6 Chaparrals to Host Weatherford College in Final Home Game of the Fall Semester

Weatherford College Coyotes vs. Midland College Chaparrals

The Midland College Chaparrals will host the Weatherford College Coyotes in the final home competition of the fall semester, on Monday, December 1st @ 5:00 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center.  The Coyotes enter tonight's game with a 4-6 record.  Midland College for their part, are undefeated on the season at 10-0.  The Coyotes and Chaps played the 2025 season opener in Weatherford on November 4th with Midland College winning 86-77.  

MC averages 85.8 points, 37.8 rebounds and 17 assists per game after 10 games.  The Chaps are holding opponents to a 62.2 point per contest on 4.5% field goal percentage and 33.0% from the three-point arc.  Weatherford College is averaging 63.8 points per game along with 31.6 rebounds and 14.1 assists per game.  

The Coyotes are led by Andre Bennett who is averaging 9.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.  WC's Josiah Coleman chips in with 9.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest.  The Chaps receive their scoring punch from Darius Carr and Antoine Bo Hurns who post 18.8 and 12.6 points per game respectively.  Carr also pulls down 2.5 rebounds per game.  Chaps' returnee Hurns is averaging 5.4 rebounds per game after 10 games.  

Following Monday's game, the Chaps will conclude the fall semester with two games in Big Spring, hosted by Howard College.  On Thursday, December 4th @ 3:00 p.m. Midland College will take on Temple College of the NTJCAC and NJCAA Region 5 North.  On Friday, December 5th MC will play against #18 ranked Mineral Area College in a 5:00 p.m. tilt.  Both games in Big Spring will be played at the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum on the campus of Howard College.
