GOLF: Pittman leads No. 1 Chaps to win in Victoria
The No. 1-ranked Midland College men’s golf team, led by J.T. Pittman, captured the Claude Jacobs Invitational on Monday.

VICTORIA, TEXAS - The No. 1-ranked Midland College men's golf team, led by J.T. Pittman, captured the Claude Jacobs Invitational on Monday.
The Chaparrals shot 287-277-297—861 to finish 19 shots ahead of McLennan Community College. Midland College's B team finished in fourth with a 902 total.
MC sophomore J.T. Pittman won the medalist title after he shot 71-64-75—210 to finish one shot ahead of MC freshman Gregor Graham, who fired a 69-69-73—211 in the two-day tournament hosted by Victoria Community College.
Midland College B team's Kyle Kistensamy was fourth with a 215 total, while MC teammates Angel Guerra and Samual McKenzie finished tied for sixth with 221 totals.
The Chaps next play in the Colin Montgomerie Tournament in Spring on March 7.
