GOLF: Chaps move up to third at nationals

NEWTON, KANSAS - The Midland College men's golf team moved up a couple of spots at the NJCAA National Tournament in Newton, Kansas, on Wednesday but also lost some ground to the leader as well.

The Chaparrals shot a 286 at Sand Creek Station Golf Course on Wednesday and now have a two-round total of 572, which is now 10 strokes back of Indian Hills Community College, which shot a 284 and has a 562 total ...
