The Midland College golf team spent most of the 2024 season ranked among the top three in several national polls.  The Chaparrals have been led by Oscar Holm Bredkjaer and Logan Zurn all season and the duo are expected to led the Chaps into the National Tournament and hopefully remain in contention as they move towards the Thursday's third and Friday's final round of the tournament.  The remaining tournament team members include:  Thomas Vestergaard, Benjamin Lund-Ravn  and Tom Watson.  Sophomore Max Cavazos is the team alternate.    

Bredkjaer is currently in a tie for 9th in the individual standings followed by Tom Watson who is T-22nd.  Despite the slip in the standings, Coach Walter Williams and the Chaps are confident they have their best golf in front of them.  After two rounds the Chaparrals are T-6th however they are only six strokes out of the lead.
