The Midland College golf team competed in their final match of the fall semester when they played in the 2024 Odessa College Wrangler Invitational Tournament (October 31st and November 1st). The tournament was played at the Odessa Country Club's "Old Course". Tournament participants played 36 holes on Thursday and a single round on Friday.
The tournament field included: New Mexico Junior College, McLennan Community College, Garden City Community College (KS), Western Texas College, Weatherford College, Ranger College, New Mexico Military Institute, Collin Community College as well as the #1 ranked MC Chaps and the host school, Odessa College. The Odessa Country Club is considered to be the home course for the Wranglers.
The Chaparrals finished as the second place team in the tournament with a total team score of 857 (-7), four strokes behind Odessa College "A" team.

Midland College freshman Scott Spark set the pace for the Chaparrals, finishing in second place in the tournament. Spark posted scores of 70-70-69--209 (-7) six strokes behind the tournament's individual champion, Adam Bresnu of Odessa College "A".
The Chaps saw four team members finish in the top 20 in the individual standings. Harrison Sewell, Reuben Harvey, Benjamin Lund-Ravn and Bryce Womack made up the tournament team.
