After claiming the nation's top spot in the Fall Semester, the Chaps golf team has endured a very long layoff from outside competition.  Hopefully they have made good use of their practice time and qualifying rounds to round back into competition shape.  

Midland College won three events in the Fall Semester and finished in the runner-up spot on two occasions.  

Midland College will open the Spring Semester at the Rice University / Sam Houston State University Bearkat Invitational Tournament in Montgomery, TX.  The tournament will be played at the Bentwater CC with the Chaps being the only two-year college team in the NCAA Division I event.  

Midland College will likely enter the team of Benjamin Lund-Ravn, Bryce Womack, Harrison Sewell, Reuben Harvey and Scott Spark.
