#1 MC Chaps Take TankLogix/Tall City Exploration Invitational Title, Moves on to Midwestern State Tournament
The Midland College golf team won the 2025 TankLogix/Tall City Exploration Invitational Tournament team championship at the Quicksand Golf Course in San Angelo.

The Midland College golf team, #1 in the NJCAA/Clippd Men's Division I rankings, won the 2025 TankLogix/Tall City Exploration Invitational with a 54-hole scores of 290-282-287--859 (-5). The Chaparrals outpaced runner-up Odessa College by five strokes in the team race.

MC's Harrison Sewell and Bryce Womack were Midland College's top two individual finishers. Sewell and Womack finished in a tie for 4th place with scores of three under par 213. OC's Adam Bresnu won the individual title with a three-round score of 204.
Midland College's Reuben Harvey finished in a tie for 13th along with fellow freshman Scott Spark. Harvey and Spark shot two over par 218 in the event. Sophomore Benjamin Lund-Ravn finished in a tie for 36th place with a 54-hole score of 229 (+13).
Hunter Welch, competing as a individual, shot a one under par 215 to finish in 9th place. Jayton Vaughn, Todd Parker and Max Aalto finished T-36, T-45 and 58th respectively. Vaughn, Parker and Aalto also competed in the event as individuals.

Midland College has been ranked first for a fifth consecutive week according to the most recent Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA Men's Division I Coaches Poll (03/21/25) and maintained the top position in the NJCAA Men's Division I National Poll conducted by Clippd (03/19/25).
