Midland College Golf Maintains One Shot Lead After Second Round of the NJCAA National Tournament
The MC Chaparrals golf team shot a two-under par score of 286 to lead the NJCAA Men's Division I Golf Championship.

The Midland College Chaps golf team continued their consistent play at the NJCAA Men's Division I National Golf Tournament, good enough to maintain their one stroke lead in the event. The Chaparrals recorded scores of 284 on Tuesday and 286 on Wednesday, to post a 36 hole score of 570 (-6) just ahead of second place Odessa College who shot 288 and 283 for a two round score of five under par 571.
The Chaps were led by Harrison Sewell who currently sits in a three-way tie for 3rd place. Sewell posted scores of 71 and 69 for a two round total of 140 (-4). Midland's Reuben Harvey is in 7th place in the individual standings with scores of 71-71--142 (-2) followed by Bryce Womack's even par 144. Womack is tied for 15th place in the tournament.

Midland College will tee off in the third round beginning at 12:40 p.m. and will be paired with Odessa College and Hutchinson Community College.
