MIDLAND, TEXAS - Lee grad Gisselle Dominguez had a big day at the plate to lead the Midland College softball team to a home doubleheader sweep of Ranger College on Wednesday.
Dominguez drove in 10 runs as the Lady Chaparrals won 13-4 and 10-0.
In the first game, Dominguez was 3-for-3 with a double, home run, five RBI and two runs scored. Aaliyah Hunter was 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored; Jasmine Garcia had two hits and an RBI; Lauren De La Cruz had a solo home run; Jana Bradshaw had a double and scored two runs; and Tajanae Davis added two RBI.
Zoey De Baca got the win the circle as he allowed just two hits, walked two and struck out one over four innings.
Dominguez was again 3-for-3 at the plate in the second game as all three of her hits were home runs. She also drove in five runs.

Hunter was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored and Angelic Gonzalez homered and drove in three runs for MC (11-3).
Emily Maddux got the win after she allowed just one hit, walked one and struck out 10.
The Lady Chaps next host Trinidad State College in a doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday.
