SOFTBALL: Lady Chaps’ season ends with loss to Clarendon
Jazmine Ayala hit a one-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to lift Clarendon College to a 5-3 victory over Midland College in an elimination game of the Region V West Softball Tournament at Lubbock Christian University on Saturday.

LUBBOCK, TEXAS - Jazmine Ayala hit a one-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to lift Clarendon College to a 5-3 victory over Midland College in an elimination game of the Region V West Softball Tournament at Lubbock Christian University on Saturday.
The Lady Chaparrals tied the game at 3-all in the top of the seventh on a Kaitlyn Gonzales' RBI double.
MC out-hit Clarendon 10-9 as Aaliyah Hunter, Zoey De Baca and Gisselle Dominguez had two hits each for the Lady Chaps. Dominguez also had a double.
Lucy Carney took the loss for MC, which finished the season at 32-20-1.
