Midland College Lady Chaps Diamond Dolls to Host Trinidad State on Friday, Navarro on Saturday

The Midland College Lady Chaps will put their umbemished 6-0 record on the line this weekend versus Trinidad State and Navarro College.

Midland College softball is scheduled to play four games over two days when they welcome Trinidad State College (CO) for a Friday double-header at Lady Chaps Field on Friday, February 13th.  On Saturday, February 14th @ 1:00 p.m. the Lady Chaps will square off in a double-header against #20 Navarro College also at Lady Chaps Field.  The Lady Chaps are 6-0 this season while Trinidad State is 1-5.  

The Lady Chaps currently have four players hitting .500 or better led by sophomore first base Karissa Garcia's .571 average.  Hobbs (NM) High School product, Garcia, also has a .929 slugging percentage.  MC's Alexys Cornejo is hitting .533 followed by Adelina Noriega and Mia Garcia who are each hitting .500 this season.
