Midland College Softball to Host Colby CC, El Paso CC, Frank Phillips at Lady Chaps Field
The MC softball team will have a strong dose of home cooking when they host three non-conference opponents at Lady Chaps Field this week.

The Midland College Lady Chaps will return to competition with six games over the next five days, beginning with a double-header versus Colby Community College of Kansas. Midland College, 15-3 this season, will host the Colby CC Trojans for a double-header at Lady Chaps Field. Colby comes in at 11-10 this season after a Monday twinbill at Howard College. The Lady Chaps rank 4th in the NJCAA in home runs with 37 and 9th in slugging percentage at .644.
Midland College has enjoyed some much-needed time off during the Spring Break holiday. After a couple days of practice MC will attempt to shake the rust off against the Colby CC Trojans. Following Tuesday's game, the Lady Chaps will play a Friday double-header against El Paso Community College and a Saturday double-dip versus Frank Phillips College. Both EPCC and FPC are members of the WJCAC, however these games are considered to be regular season games that don't count in the conference standings.
The 2026 WJCAC portion of the schedule will begin on March 27-28 versus Western Texas College.
