MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Midland College women defeated Ranger College, 68-43, on Friday at Chap Center to improve to 5-0 this season.
Kim Schrama led the Lady Chaps with 14 points while Bella Green contributed 10 points and 20 rebounds for Midland College. Brooke Galvin added 11 points off the bench for MC, which shot 41.8 percent from the field.
The Lady Chaps' defense helped pave the way for the victory. Midland College held Ranger to 25 percent shooting (18 of 72). Wilashia Burleson was the long Ranger player in double figures with 11 points.
