BASKETBALL: Midland College Lady Chaps Host "Lady Chaps Classic"
After an extended break for the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, the Midland College Lady Chaps will return to action on Friday, December 2nd when they host the four-team, Lady Chaps Classic.

MIDLAND. TEXAS - After an extended break for the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, the Midland College Lady Chaps will return to action on Friday, December 2nd when they host the four-team, Lady Chaps Classic. Competing teams include fellow WJCAC member Howard College as well as Jacksonville College and Lamar Community College from Lamar, Colorado.
The action begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with Howard College taking on Jacksonville College followed by Midland College and Lamar CC at 7:00 p.m. Saturday's schedule features Lamar CC vs. Howard College at 2:00 p.m. and Jacksonville College vs. Midland College at 4:00 p.m.
The Lady Chaps are led, offensively, by the trio of Desiree Smith (9.9 ppg), Janay Quinn (9.8 ppg) and Safena Williams (7.8 ppg). Smith leads the team with 11.5 rebounds per contest.

The Lady Chaps will conclude the fall semester slate of games with games at Cisco College on December 9th and at Ranger College on December 10th.
