Lady Chaps Basketball Ends Season with Loss to SPC

The Midland College basketball team missed out on the post-season with a 57-50 loss to South Plains College in the final home game of 2024

Headed into the contest at South Plains College, the Lady Chaps held hopes of a berth in the Region 5 Basketball Tournament.  The Lady Chaps needed a win over the Lady Texans and a Clarendon College loss versus New Mexico Junior College to secure the fourth seed from the WJCAC.  

Unfortunately, Midland College fell a few points short of achieving the post-season in a 57-50 loss to the Lady Texans in the final regular season game of 2024.  Midland College was led by Luisa Anderegg and Dee Henderson, each with 12 points in the game.  With the loss Midland College finishes the season at 12-12, including 5-9 in conference.
