Midland College's Henderson Leads the Lady Chaps into the WNIT Classic

The Lady Chaps basketball team will take to the court beginning on Friday, November 22 when they host the annual WNIT.  This year's WNIT will be a "Classic" with a round robin format rather than a true tournament as in year's past.  Joining Midland College are several nationally ranked women's basketball teams, including #11 Kilgore College, #14 Odessa College, #15 South Plains College and Hill College.  

The WNIT will kick-off on Thursday with Hill College taking on South Plains College at 6:00 p.m.  Friday at 5:00 p.m. Odessa will play Hill and in the 7:00 p.m. game Kilgore College will take on Midland College.  

Saturday the WNIT will conclude with Kilgore vs. Odessa at 2:00 p.m. and Midland hosting Hill College beginning at 4:00 p.m.  

Midland College sophomore Dee Henderson (Odessa, TX) leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 14 points and 8 rebounds per contest.  

Following Saturday's game the Lady Chaps will square off against the Wayland Baptist University JV on Monday, November 25th @ 6:00 p.m.
