The Lady Chaps rode the hot hand of freshman guard Josefine Enander to a key WJCAC win over Western Texas College on Monday night at the Chaparrals Center.  Midland College improved to 14-6 this season and 3-2 in conference in the 83-66 victory.  

Midland College, led by Enander's 17 points, had four players score in double digits, including 14 by Riley Burd, 12 by Brianna Vargas and 11 by Toyah Montgomery.  Burd and Diana Szakolczi each ripped down seven rebounds.  

MC shot 39.1% from the floor compared to 36.8% for WTC.  Midland College also outrebounded the Lady Westerners by 10 (43 to 33), including 16 on the offensive end for the Lady Chaps.  

Next on the schedule is a trip to Clarendon College for a contest with the Clarendon College Lady Bulldogs.  Clarendon is currently 18-3 this season and 4-1 in conference.
