MC Lady Chaps Hit the Road for a Tough Test at #13 NMJC

After a week away from game competition, the Midland College Lady Chaps will travel to Hobbs, NM for a conference matchup with #13 ranked NMJC.

Midland College Lady Chaps vs New Mexico Junior College Lady T-Birds

The Midland College Lady Chaps should have fresh legs entering tonight's game at #13 NMJC. MC, 12-7 this season and 1-3 in the WJCAC, enjoyed a night off from competition on Monday. Tonight's game will be the Lady Chaps first in a week. New Mexico Junior College is 1-2 in their last three conference games, suffering back-to-back losses to Howard College and Clarendon College but defeating, then #1 South Plains College on Monday night in Levelland.

Midland College will feature a balanced scoring attack led by sophomore guard Diana Szakolczi who is averaging 14.6 points per game. Following Szakolczi are six Lady Chaps team members who score between 8.3 ppg to 7.2 ppg. MC is a strong rebounding team which will be needed when they take on the big and talented Lady Thunderbirds. NMJC comes in at 15-3 this season and 2-2 in the WJCAC.
