The Midland College Lady Chaps will take the road for their next WJCAC game, at Howard College's Dorothy Garrett Coliseum.  It will be the final game of the season for Midland College, who comes in at 15-13 this season.  MC is also 4-9 in the WJCAC. 

Howard College has enjoyed a solid season, going 20-9 overall and 9-4 in conference.  The Hawks are currently in a three-way tie for second place in conference, so Thursday's game will have real consequences for next week's NJCAA Region 5 Basketball Tournament.  The Region 5 Tournament will be played at the Odessa College Sports Center beginning on Wednesday, March 11th and concluding on Saturday, March 14th.  

MC's sophomore trio of Diana Szakolczi, Latisha Wilson and Sumaiya Ibrahim will need to play all out in order to lead the freshmen laden Lady Chaps to a victory in the season finale.  Thursday's game will be the last time the three second-year players will don the MC basketball uniform. 

The Lady Hawks will offer strong opposition to the Lady Chaps with post-season seeding on the line.  Fans can expect a back and forth contest which will possibly go down to the wire.  A Lady Chaps win will put a positive stamp on the season.
