LUBBOCK, TEXAS – The season for the Midland College volleyball team came to an end with a loss to New Mexico Military Institute in the semifinals of the Region V West Tournament at the Rip Griffin Center on Saturday.
NMMI defeated MC, 25-16, 28-26, 25-15, as the Lady Chaparrals ended their season with a 9-5 record.

MC had advanced with a 28-26, 25-12, 25-17 victory over Frank Phillips College on Friday night.
Logan Terrazas had eight kills, Karina Salinas had nine digs, Romina Vacca had 14 assists and Brenna Windham added 13 assists in the win.
