BORGER, TEXAS - Midland College won its fourth straight match with a 25-10, 25-18, 25-17 sweep of Frank Phillips College during Saturday's Western Junior College Athletic Conference volleyball contest.
The Lady Chaps (16-6, 8-2) swept their third straight conference match and remained in second place, one game back of New Mexico Military College (25-4, 9-1). NMMI, a 3-0 winner over Western Texas College, will host the Lady Chaps at 7 p.m. CDT Wednesday in Roswell, New Mexico.
Karina Salinas led MC with 14 kills, Petra Fernandez and Mia Ornelas both had a team-high nine digs and Romina Vacca registered 18 assists in Saturday's win.
