CLARENDON, TEXAS - Midland College opened the second half of Western Junior College Athletic Conference play with a 25-15, 25-18, 25-13 sweep of Clarendon College on Saturday.
The Lady Chaps (13-7, 6-2) got back on the winning track after losing to No. 9-ranked Odessa College in a five-set match on Wednesday.
Petra Fernandez and Zoe Fernandez each led MC with 11 kills, Miranda Acosta and Petra Fernandez both had a team-high seven digs, Ana Zink tallied a team-best 15 assists and Laura Milori had four aces.
The Bulldogs dropped to 3-18 and 0-8.
The Lady Chaps return to the court when they host New Mexico Junior College at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
