The Midland College volleyball team got a road sweep over Western Texas College, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20, on Saturday.
The Lady Chaparrals were led by Petra Fernandez, who had a double-double with 15 kills and 14 digs; Zoe Fernandez had 13 kills and 14 digs; and Julia Kabala had 24 assists and 11 digs.
The win was MC's second sweep of WTC this season.
The Lady Chaps (14-8, 7-3 in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference) next host first-year program Amarillo College at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
