MIDLAND, TEXAS - Midland College swept first-year program Amarillo College, 25-21, 26-24, 25-12, during Wednesday's Western Junior College Athletic Conference volleyball match at Chaparral Center.
The Lady Chaps had a pair of double-doubles as Petra Fernandez had 11 kills and 18 digs, while Laura Milori provided 11 kills and 11 digs.
Zoe Fernandez led MC with 14 kills, Miranda Acosta had a team-high 20 digs and Julia Kabala tallied 27 assists.
MC (15-8, 8-3) got its second sweep over Amarillo College (15-13, 2-9) this season.
The Lady Chaps host Frank Phillips College at 2 p.m. Saturday.
