Midland College Volleyball Extends Win Streak to Five, 4-0 in Dalton Overstreet Invitational Classic in Yuma, AZ
The Midland College Lady Chaps Volleyball team went undefeated in four matches at the Dalton Overstreet Invitational versus Arizona Western, Yavapai, Colorado Northwestern and Park.

The Midland College volleyball team traveled to Yuma, AZ to compete in the Dalton Overstreet Invitational. MC went 4-0 in the event with wins over the host college, Arizona Western College, Yavapai College, Colorado Northwestern Community College and Park University.
With their success at the Overstreet Invitational, Midland College improved to 8-4 this season while riding a five-match win streak. The Lady Chaps will enjoy a much-needed break from competition until Wednesday, September 17th when they travel to Snyder, TX for the 2025 WJCAC opener versus Western Texas College. The WTC match is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. first serve.

From all appearances the WJCAC is stronger from top to bottom with three teams ranked in the Top 15 in the most recent NJCAA Division I Volleyball national rankings (#11 Odessa, #13 Frank Phillips and #14 New Mexico Military Institute). Additionally, fellow NJCAA Region 5 member, Weatherford College is ranked #2 nationally while Amarillo College and New Mexico Junior College have each received votes in the national rankings.
