Midland College Volleyball Opens WJCAC Slate at Western Texas, Hosts #4 Odessa College for Green Out Day on Saturday
The Midland College volleyball team will travel to Snyder for a WJCAC opening match versus Western Texas College on Wednesday, September 17th @ 6:00 p.m. Midland College will host Odessa College on Saturday, September 20th @ 2:00 p.m. for Lady Chaps Volleyball Green Out Day at the Chaparral Center.

The Midland College volleyball team will return to the hardwood when they travel to Snyder for a Wednesday night conference opening match versus Western Texas College. The Lady Chaps are currently 8-4 this season, while the Lady Westerners are 6-11 in 2025.
Midland College will be playing their first match since September 6th when they defeated Colorado Northwestern Community College and Park University in the final day of the Dalton Overstreet Invitational in Yuma AZ. WTC has lost three of their last four matches. Midland College, for its part, is riding a five-match win streak.
The Lady Chaps are led by sophomores Luisina Sandrone and Ipek Kusoglu who have recorded 121 and 84 total kills respectively this season. MC's setter duo of Mia Bell and Jordan Eager have posted 194 and 140 total assists in 2025 to lead the team. Defensively, Sandrone is the team leader in total digs with 156 followed by Bell at 121.

Western Texas College's Savhanna Thompson leads the Westerners with 108 kills. Sydney Roberts is tops in assists with 209 and Samantha Loera is the team leader in digs with 126 total in 2025.
Following Wednesday's match at Snyder the Lady Chaps will host #4 Odessa College on Saturday, September 20th @ 2:00 p.m. for "Green Out Day" at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. All Midland College fans are asked to wear green in support of the Lady Chaps!
